I signed up to Skillshare Because of free trial.
The day BEFORE my trial was supposed to end I got an email from them thanking me for subscribing to Premium.
Naturally, I was perplexed. It's normal for companies to offer free trials in hopes that you enjoy the product enough to actually pay for it. What is not normal is for your enterprise to LIE to you and charge you the day before the free trial is supposed to finish, in effect frees you and stealing your cash. I was furious.
I looked on the internet and after 30 minutes of digging I found a telephone number for the firm (Red flag, that which legitimate company does not have an easily accessible customer support number?) . I called that number and it went right to voicemail. At this point I was freaking out because all these adventures were leading me to think this really was a scam. The only real option left to me was to write them an email via their website. This was more than 3 months past, and I've yet to receive a response.
I am appalled at the way they handle business (by first tricking their customers, then dismissing their concerns). They stole my money without any warning and are currently unreachable.
I moved back to their own website as well as their advertisement for Premium is really a lie. It clearly says that your Premium accounts is cancelable at any time. What they really mean is it's possible to cancel it so that it won't renew at the next billing cycle (which is an whole year!!) . They Make Money Teaching on SkillShare – A Review - XtraMoney.co are crooks. If their articles were really good, I would have happily continued using their services, but most of their movies are items I could find on YouTube or alternative areas for free. The only thing that I am do now is spare others the hassle.
DO NOT register for the free trial. Should you do a little more research you will find a multitude of other reviews like mine.
Proceed to Lynda.com or even YouTube. Please, do not make the same mistake that I did, and keep away!!
I composed Skillshare a final time, also it looks like from the past 4 months they've really upped their customer service match. I got a same-day response apologizing for my prior experience and with an offer to repay me all my cash. This gesture was more than I anticipated, and I am thankful to know that individuals do actually work at this business, and it seems they're listening to the negative reviews and also trying to make a much better firm.
